What is the event advertising boost?

The event advertising boost is an easy way to book discounted advertising directly when you enter an event. You will receive this discount when you enter the event and before you publish your event. Depending on the package you choose, you will be offered a temporary discount of 20 to 30 % for this direct booking.

The packages include our own Eventfrog advertising products, which we also offer in the «Marketplace». By putting together our own products, we are not reliant on external advertisers, we are flexible and can offer this discount

Time periods and start dates of the adverts

The start dates are pre-set in each case. They are based on our experience and promise the greatest reach and best results. The event is published in «Discover events» 11 days and as a highlight 6 days before the start of the event. By «Highlight» the event will be highlighted in the event listing as soon as the event has been published.

The start dates can be changed using the «Adjust date» button next to the date for each advertising type. However, the changes may affect the reach and success of the advert.

How is the event advertising boost billed?

For events with ticketing, the event advertising boost is offset against the ticket revenue at the end of the event. Accordingly, the advertising boost appears on the invoice together with the costs for the respective event model and additional services subject to a charge. The event advertising boost can also be used for calendar entries. Here, payment is made directly at check-out.

Why can't I book the event advertising boost as an offer?

The event advertising boost is offered per event. If the period between the creation date and the event start date is too short, the advertising boost will not be displayed.

Certain durations are planned for the advertising boost in order to reach as many potential visitors as possible.

Why is the event advertising boost not displayed for all the events I enter?

The event advertising boost will be displayed when you enter an event if the event start date is at least 5 days in the future. This is the only way we can ensure that your event benefits from the full duration of the advertising boost and that you receive the full advertising benefit.

If there are less than 5 days between the entry date and the start date of the event, the event advertising boost will not be displayed.

However, we always recommend that you create and publicise your events in good time and with enough time in advance, regardless of whether you book or not. This way, your event will benefit from the reach of our agenda.

Can I change the booking of the event advertising boost later and choose a different boost?

No, the choice of event advertising boost can no longer be changed.

If the event has not yet been published and therefore no tickets have been purchased, the event can be deleted. When creating a new event, the desired advertising boost can be selected correctly.

Can Support adjust the booking of the event advertising boost?

Support can adjust the booking dates (time periods). The event advertising boost model can no longer be adjusted after booking.

The publication dates of the individual Eventfrog advertising products can already be customised when selecting the boost. If you click on the «Adjust date» button, you can select a different date.

How can I adjust the time periods for the event advertising boost?

You can change the publication date per promotion by clicking on the pencil icon next to the date. There you can select a separate start date for each individual Eventfrog promotion. Please bear in mind the running times of the individual adverts. They are on average 5 days. «Highlight» starts with the publication of your event.

The preset dates are based on our experience and are designed to offer your event the best possible reach.

When will the event advertising boost be activated for my event?

Depending on your choice (Mini, Standard, Premium), the event advertising boost will be activated 11 days before the event start date. The event is published in «Discover events» 11 days and as a highlight 6 days before the start of the event. The event is highlighted in the event listing as soon as the event has been published.

Until when do I have to publicise my event for the event advertising boost to be activated?

You should always publicise your event early. This way you will benefit from the wide reach of our event calendar for longer. In addition, your event will be highlighted in the calendar after publication until the start date.

The other Eventfrog advertising products each have a duration of five days. Our recommendation is therefore to publish at least 5 days before the start of the event.

If you do not publish your event, your booking will be cancelled.

Is reporting carried out?

No, no reporting is carried out for the advertising boosts.
