Impurity emerged from the depths of Belo Horizonte, Minas Gerais, Brazil in 1989 where other notable bands such as Sarcófago, Sepultura, Mutilator, Holocausto resided in the mid-80s. Influenced by old black death metal bands such as Venom, Celtic Frost, Hellhammer they set out creating their own unholy noise over 30 years ago. In 1989 the band recorded their first demo rehearsal cassette entitled "The Impurity Temple" and in 1993 the band released their debut long play album entitled "The Lamb's Fury" by Cogumelo Records. On the album the band showed the world that their music was top tier profane black death metal with harsh guitars, whispered vocals and destructive drums remembering the beginnings of Sarcófago among other bands of the Bel Horizonte underground scene. After members coming and going, the band remains strong recording albums and split albums with other bands on the world stage.

The current line-up for 2025 features Armando Leprous on drums (ex-Sarcófágo), Ron  Seth, on guitar and bass and Ram Priest on vocals.

GOAT SEMEN

Much like the name, GOAT SEMEN is one of the most extreme bands in living memory.

Formed in Lima, Peru in 2000 Goat Semen would quickly become one of South America’s most coveted metal exports with the release of its demos South American Terrorist Black Death Destruction (2000), Goat Semen (2003) and the universally praised Devotos del Diablo, a split release with Anal Vomit.

The band’s sound is as much a product of its influences as its surroundings. The ‘Warfare Noise’ of bands like Sarcofago, Holocausto and Chakal would combine with Blasphemy, Beherit and Hellhammer to channel the realities of growing up in the middle of a violent civil war. The incessant battery, the lacerating guitars, bomb sirens and rabid wails of vocalist Erick Neyra create a sense of shellshock and authenticity unmatched by other bands in their genre.   

By the release of Goat Semen’s debut Ego Sum Satanas in 2015, the band was already legendary in underground circles and was quickly signed by US label Hell’s Headbangers. After performing at Finland’s Black Flames of Blasphemy in 2015, the band embarked on a headlining European tour four years later.

Goat Semen will be supporting Masacre on a short tour of the European mainland in collaboration with Killtown Bookings and Morbid Angle in April 2023. Witnessing these two bands perform together is a once in a lifetime experience outside of South America. Contact Killtown bookings for info.
