Let's move into handstand - adho mukha vrksasana
This handstand workshop is suitable for people, who are just taking their first steps to get upside down, as well as for those, who are looking for new ways to establish their handstand practice. Everyone is welcome.
In this two hours we will go through:
- general exercises designed to progress flexibility, strength, endurance, alignment and balance
- the foundations and perfect alignment of a handstand
- the importance of wrist strength and flexibility, as well as shoulder mobility
- how to fail safely
- how to spot others safely
You will get advices, tips and tricks, to get progress in your own personal handstand practice. Come and challenge your ability.
Prashant Tewatia is going to lead you through a playful workshop. He was born in India, where he still lives and teaches Yoga and Movement in his own Yoga school. From an early age he was introduced to the Yoga tradition, on which he built a rich and varied experience during years of practice.
