Sara El Hachimi (CH)
Sara El Hachimi's music can be described as both jazz-influenced and shaped by singer-songwriter elements, characterized by a strong spirit of experimentation. Inspired by artists such as Samora Pinderhughes, Saya Gray, Esperanza Spalding, Brad Mehldau, and Wayne Shorter, Sara focuses on self-expression, honesty, and reflection, as well as processing emotions and experiences through music and lyrics. The compositions address themes of love, inner shadows, loneliness, relationships, family, childhood, and fundamental questions of life. Through her experiences in self-expression, both her own and those of others, Sara El Hachimi recognized the significance of this form of communication and how it can support both ourselves and one another. This project is dedicated not only to artistic learning and growth but also to self-expression, the immediacy of life, and the love that can flow through music and authentic expression.

Kaidi Akinnibi (UK)
From his time in popular Post-punk outfit ‘Black Midi’ and working with many of the finest groups in the UK jazz scene - Kokoroko and Mercury prize winners Ezra Collective amongst them - while also creating and playing with Tom Misch, Wizkid, Celeste and more, it’s no wonder Kaidi Akinnibi’s own music is so precise and eclectic.
Kaidi Akinnibi grew up in South London. Developing alongside many other musical artists - many hailing from Tomorrows Warriors and the Windmill - his own rare style blends Shoe-gaze Rock, Punk-Jazz, and Indie music via his distinct warm vocals and powerful, emotive, high energy Saxophone sounds.
2023/24 saw Kaidi’s first impact in the UK, his live recording ‘Real Enough’ recorded before his sold out show at the Dalston Curve garden, intimate session in the 5db canteen and performance at the db Soundscape stage at WOMAD Festival being notable highlights. His single ‘Out on the Edge’ is out now, and his debut album ‘Short Stories’ is due to be released early 2025.
